It's Nearly Christmas

Hi Everyone, I can not believe how quickly Christmas has come around this year! I am in a mad rush going around picking up laybys, didn't realise just how much I had brought so I think I am going to have to take some of it back. Everyday I say that I am going to start wrapping tonight and I never get to it, if I don't start soon it is going to be a nightmare for me lol, with five kids pressies to wrap there is enough for a small army to help with! The kids are getting very excited about it, everyday they see something on the telly that they want to add to their Christmas wish list!

I am trying to desensitise Thomas with Santa, last years pic was horrid cause i had to get in it cause he wouldn't go near him. He has agreed that he will sit on Nikiesha's knee, but I know what he is like and I know we are going to have dramas when we get there.

The girls had a ball on their trip to Tassie with Mum and Dad, they didn't want to come home but were glad to be home if that makes sense and had so much to tell us. They went to Zoo Doo, Cadbury Factory, Hobart Museum, Port Arthur, Cataract Gorge, and Platypus House. We have heaps of photo to scrapbook with about 900 all up LOL!

Jamie has his work breakup this Friday, in Barwon Heads at lunch time, no doubt by the time he gets home at tea time he will be tanked and I will be tucking him into bed for the night. AND i have my breakup the week after LOL! I am having a Girls Night In with Mum, Lauren, Denise, Coral and Tracey....few bottle of wine, nibbles and a girly movie!

For those of you that knew about us considering changing the girls school, we have decided to leave them where they are, the deciding factor was that Corio West doesn't have a music/drama program and when I told Nikiesha she started crying! And plus when I told Jamie that we might have to reconsider moving them he decided to pip up and tell me that he doesn't think we should move them anyway! LOL! MEN! Not once had he said this anytime we had been talking about it. So I went up for a meting with the new principal, who seems really nice, and he made me feel alot better about leaving them there. They found out their teachers yesterday, Nikeisha has Mrs Swan, who she had in Grade one and is her fave teacher out of all of them. Rhiaan has Mr Forsyth, who Nikiesha has had for the last 2 years, which I am very happy about as he and I have spoken quite a bit about the troubles we have with Rhiaan. I have also spoken to the social worker and she is going to work with Rhiaan and try and help her overcome her anxiety, she also sent home allot of information to help Jamie and I know how to deal with her.

Any way I better get on with my day, I have to pick Thomas up for day care at 12:45 and I have loads to do before then. It's Wednesday so Glenn and Amy are coming for tea tonight! Hope you all have a lovely day!

We had Linkin Christened on the weekend, it was a wonderful day, the weather was perfect (well maybe a tad too hot), and our nearest and dearest came to join us in the celebrations. Linkin didn't like the service and cried through the whole thing!! But he was pretty good for the rest of the day.

We got a few nice family shots but Thomas decided that he wasn't having his photo done so our family photo was missing one person.

His godparents were my Amy, Glenn and Denise, 3 people who are very special to jamie and I who we know love Linkin as much as we do.

I can't believe that Linkin is 2 months already, he is still tiny though, but has such a beautiful personality and the most wonderful smile! Every where we go people comment on how beautiful he is and want to stop and talk about him! Kaylee is so

funny with him, she wans to kiss and cuddle him all the time, but gets a little rough so we have to watch her. Thomas is the same, and he gets really upset when ever any one jokes about keeping him!!!

Nikiesha has had her end of year concert and last night was presentation night. Nikiesha got the Coaches Award, I am so proud of her she loves all things drama and I am trying to nurture that as much as I can.

The girls leave for Tassie next weekend with Mum and Dad, I can't believe how quickly it has come around. They are pretty excited now and I am really hoping it help Rhiaan with her seperation anxiety problem, they have never been away from Jamie and I for this long so it will be a real test for us all!

I have added in some pics of 5 women who are always there to support me, whether it is help with the my never ending pile of washing, or just listening to me about how hard my day has been they are always there for me when I need them......Mum, I could never have asked for a better mother, you are a constant in my life that I could not live with out, I am so lucky to have you....My little sister Lauren, we drive each other nuts sometimes, but I love you to bits, and I know I can trust you to protet my children like they are you own......Amy, the best sister in Law I could ever wish for, you are my best friend and I love that we are so similar!....... Coral, we have known each other for so long but it has only been this year that we have really gotten to know each other, I already know I can turn to you when I need something and you will be there for us all....... Denise, I never would have thought that could have become so close to some one that I met so late in my life, def never thought I would have another Best Friend but that is how I think of you now, you are someone I know I can come to for honest non judgemental advice, I look forward to so many more years of friendship with you!......Tracey, my oldest friend, we have gone through so many things together and I know we will go through alot more, I love you!

Sorry for all the soppyness but I really want to put it out there for all to see that these women mean so much to me and I love you all!

I haven't been getting on here to blog alot, but things are slowly settling down so I will try and do it more often, there are so many things that I could share about my kids, every day is an adventure!

Time flies when you having fun!!!

Can you believe that my little man will be 7 weeks tomorrow? I can't!! He is so fantastic, full of smiles all the time, so content to lay and play in his rocker whilst I am dealing with the other four! He is just over 8lb now, and still wearing 0000. He has a bit of a cold at the moment so all snuffly which is horrible as there is so little you can do for them...I have given him some decongestant today so hopefully that will help. We are having him christened next month so getting all that organised now.

Nikiesha had her final calisthenics comp last weekend, they had fun, which is the main thing, now all we have left is her comcert and presentation night and it is over again for another year. I am not sure if she is going back to it next year, she has been all over the place with ehr feeligns about it this year so I have told her she has to have a good think about it over the holidays.

My girls head off on a holiday toTassie next month with my parents. I know they are going to have a ball but I am starting to get nervous about it now...I get ervous enought about something happening to mum and dad while they are away and now I have the fear of something happening to my girls as well....Trying not to think about it too much but it is hard.

Can you believe that christmas is only just around the corner, and then it will be 2009 OMG!!!!I have to go and do some more shopping this afternoon as i need a few more things for the older girls, they are so much harder to buy for now.

At least once a day I have someone comment on how hard it must be with 5 kids, sometime twice a day...for the record I would like to say that it is not that hard at all.....Yes I am tired all the time, don;t have a lot of time for myself, sometimes the only time I spend with my hubby s when we are asleep.....but these thing are eye openers, I appreciate the sleep I do get, enjoy the time I do have for myself and Jamie and I make sure that we make the most of the time we do get together! I think it helps that I am pretty cruisy, noise doens't bother me, I am an Upston and we are all loud! Mess doesn't faze me, if it doesn;t get done it will still be there tomorrow! The only thing I do make sure is clean everynight before I go to bed is the kitchen, can't handle getting up to a messy kitchen! My house is clean but never tidy and that is ok! The only thing I do HATE about have a family of 7 is the washing OMG it NEVER ends!!!!!!

Well better go, Linkin will be awake soon, (and I don't only know this becuase of the time, my bopob just sprung a leak!!!) and I still havent showered!!!!! Hope your all having a wonderful day!!!!

Time Flies

When you have 5 kids....I can't believe that Linkin is 4 weeks old today!!!! It has gone so quick, I have been savouring every minute he is awake, I am a bit selfish with cuddle time, I don't like to share it! He is doing fantastic, he hit his birth weight at 2 weeks old, it will be interesting to see how much he has put on when we go again today.

It is still school hols, the kids have been pretty good considering we haven't been able to do alot. We had Jamie's 2 sister and their kids over for lunch on Wednesday then, I took them into town on friday to see the Kung Fu Panda show at the Westfield shopping center and have lunch and tonight the girls are having a friend over for a sleep over, but that is all we have really done so far.

Saturday just gone was a wonderful day, we threw a surprise party for my Nan's 70th! It was fantastic, she had no idea at all so it was a complete success! Everyone had a great day especially her so it was worth all the secrecy!

Here is our beautiful little man... he Loves sleeping in mummy and daddy's bed! And the bottom one is when we were still in hospital, I think with was the wednesday.

A week old already!!!

I can't believe it! Our little man is already over a week old. Linkin was born last Monday (Sept 1st) at 1:53pm weighing 6lb 11oz. We had a uncomplicated c section (except for the fact that they had to have 2 goes at the spinal block cause he couldn't get it in). Jamie and I were both so surprised at how little Linkin was, and how much hair he had! It was so great to finally see him and kiss him!
I have to tell you about the anaesthetist, Jamie and I were still unsure about what we were going to name him and in walks the anaesthetist and he says 'Hi my name in Linkin!" Jamie and I just looked at each other and started laughing, we then explained to him that it was one of the names that we were considering with for the baby...it was like a sign. He came in to see me in recovery and I told him that we had decided on Linkin and he was rapped!!!!
Linkin had a few problems with his blood sugar levels which I was rapped that we managed to get under control by the Tuesday Night. It surprised the Drs so I was really glad that I stuck to my guns and made them give us a chance to do it without the drip. He was discharged from special care on the Wednesday and we came home on Thursday. I kept saying before I went in that I was going to have a holiday, and that I wasn't coming out until they kicked me out, but once in there I missed Jamie and the kids too much, so I couldn't wait to get home and start our life as family of seven!
We had a few rough nights as he settled in but now he is sleeping and feeding fantastically. He is such a quiet baby doesn't cry a lot....yet! LOL! He looks a lot like Jamie, has darker hair than any of the others and more of it too, his lttle face is so tiny that he doesn't really have a hair line it just turns into his eyebrows LOL. He is also long and skinny were all the others have been short and chubby. And omg he has the biggest feet...I should measure them, but I reckon they would easily be 5cm!!!!
So basically he is just perfect and I am in love all over again, I love holding him, he snuggles right in, and can't stop kissing him. I had to take him to the Dr yesterday as he has conjunctivitis that wasn't going away with breast milk and his poor little eye swelled up. They have started to clear up now with the help of drops.
Well I should go cause I could talk about him all day...I will add a pic on here of him tomorrow...Take Care

OMG 3 Sleeps :)

Well today has been an ok day, I got my hair cut this morning, and my SIL is coming to color it tomorrow. Want to look nice in the pictures LOL!

I am ready for my birthday on Sunday, it is going to be nice and relaxing, i have delegated allot of the baking and stuff, and Nikiesha and Rhiaan are looking forward to helping me with the rest. I am going to get the to help bake the school snacks (thanks for the tip Julie I am going to mix a triple batch and freeze half) for the week too so they are excited about that.

Jamie took the girls to a puppet making night at the school last night ad they loved it, they didn't stop talking about it all night....Nikiesha made Little Red Riding Hood, and Rhiaan made the Queen of Australia (? lol).

I think the girls were a bit worried about who would be looking after them ext week while I am in hospital, as we were talking about it this morning and they had heaps of questions about how they would get to school and who would be bringing them to see me....They were very relieve when I said Jamie had time off work!!!

I caused myself an injury on Wednesday.....I picked up the car from being serviced and decided to go and wash it, it hadn't been done in SO long. I think I got into it a bit too much as I have aggravated a muscle in my stomach!!!! Wednesday night it was pretty bad, I could barely move, it was a bit better when I got up in the morning and has improved more since, but I can't do things like tense my muscles, pick up Thomas, twist a certain way. And I don't think I will be going back to the gym, which Jamie is happy about as he was worried I was over doing it. I think I will just put the kids in the pram and go for a walk tomorrow instead.

MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY!!!!! I can't believe it, well I can now, I was looking at pics from the day Kaylee was born and it brought it all rushing to me how close we are to having that precious new baby stage again. I can't wait now, what color hair will he have, will he look like Thomas, how big will he be....and oh that smell!!!!!!!!! I don't care about all the things that still need to be done now, I just want him HERE!

In the mean time, I plan to enjoy me last few days with the kids and my darling hubby, and my birthday! I probably won't blog again until after I get out of hospital, but I am sure you will all hear he is here someway or another, if you want to get the baby text message and I don't have your mobile number you better email it to me!!!!!

5 Sleeps to go

It is getting so close and all I can think about is what I need to get done....I am trying to give the house a bit of a spring clean so that bub gets to come home to a clean clutter and cobweb free house. Which isn't real easy here, there seems to be new cobwebs just where I got rid of them the day before! Ho Hum.

Had a Drs appt yesterday and they didn't have the results for my blood test but said that they would call if there was any problem, and they didn't so I hope everything continues this way so that I can get to Monday! Then they realised that I hadn't been to periop yet to do all the final admin stuff, so I went there and got it done so we are on the way. I have to call Sunday night to check what time I have to be there, but she said it will probably be around 11am and he would be born sometime in the after noon. It will be nice not to have to rush the kids and ourselves to get there. Mum and Dad are having them for the day, and Mum and Nan are taking them shopping to keep them occupied until it is time for them to come to the hospital. I am scared and excited about it all at once, I am worried how I am going to cope, I know I will be fine but there is this niggly voice in the back of my head telling me I won't. I guess I will be on autopilot for the first few weeks at least until things settle down into a routine.

Today's plans......Drop off car for a service, go to gym with Lauren (remember to take form to put a hold on my membership until I can go back after baby is born, come home feed and put the kids down for a nap and do some more spring cleaning...oh and cook a roast cook in there too! Might even see if I can bake the cookies I have been promising the kids for the last 2 weeks!!!!

ONLY 9 DAYS TO GO!!!! OMG!

Can you believe it, I can't, this coming week will be the last week I will only have four children, our little man will be here Monday week.

A lot has happened since I last blogged, the liver function test I had came back showing that my liver enzymes are rising, which is one of the first signs of the HELLP Syndrome that caused me so much trouble when I had Thomas, but again like when I had Kaylee none of the other symptoms (which are low platelets and break down of white blood cells) are happening, and until they do they won't do anything. Which I am happy about, I don't want him to come any earlier, I have too much to do before he gets here. My diabetes is going ok, I am keeping my insulin at low levels so hopefully that will mean that bubs won't have to spend too long in special care. Jamie asked if I am going to indulge a bit at my party, and i said yes hehe, I think I have earned it I have been SO good with going with it even though the others are having it, I even sat and watched them all have McDonalds the other night while I ate Chicken and Pasta soup!

And I want to be able to enjoy my 30th next Sunday....Hopefully by now you all have your invites. I am looking forward to getting a little spoilt on the day. Unfortunately I don't think I will have my pressie from my hubby kids and family on the day cause i has to be sent away to have a piece put in it which will take a week and they haven't done it yet. But it is worth waiting for so I don't mind.

Tonight Myself, Mum, Lauren, Amy and 4 of our friends are heading out for tea, leaving all kids and husbands at home YAY! We are just going to a nice little pub that a friend took us to a few weeks ago, I am so looking forward to having a nice meal that I didn't have to cook or plan!

The kids have all been very busy. Nikiesha had another competition, this one was in Melbourne, and they did so well, once they have been together for a little while they are going to be a very strong little team and will be knocking their socks off. She also finally got her results back from her Skill Level One that she did earlier this year. My little Star got a Credit Pass, there is only one score higher, I was so proud!!!!!

Last week the kids had their School Concert....Nikiesha's class did Hairspary and Nikiesha was the lead (Tracey) she did really well and the next day her teacher sent home a blown up photo copy of her head and across her forehead he had written 'What a Start one day you Name will be in lights!" Rhiaans class did Grease and she did really well too, normally she slinks back a bit but this year she was really getting into it, she dances so well it is a shame she has no interest in calisthenics cause I think she could be as good if not better than Nikiesha. Unfortunately Rhiaan has some extreme separation anxiety issues that hold her back.

Well I had better go, I am going to the gym soon and I need to get the rugrats dressed to take them to mum and dad's, Jamie is working all day again today!

All is well

Just a quick one today.....
As I suspected I am back on insulin, only small doses fr the min but it is making a lot of difference. I haven't even been able to eat special K for the last week, so thought I would test it thins morning and my reading was a perfect 5.6!!! So I am pretty happy with that, as I was over scrambled eggs already!
All is fine with the baby, I had a Liver function test as well and that came back normal. So the count down is now 2 weeks and 5 days!!! OMG!
Kaylee is so much better, but still sleeping loads, I am so glad to have my little girl back. Oh and she now say loves (well it is actually 'Wuves') and holds her hands out to you for a cuddle!! It is so darn cute!!!
Better go, want to vacuum before I pick up the girls...hope you are all well!

I knew it

As I suspected I am back on day time insulin. Not huge amounts just little bits for now. At least now I can add in a few more carbs as I really wasn't eating enough. I guess the bonus was the weight loss, even eight months preggo I am the lightest i have been in a long time!!! Other from that all is well...I had a liver function test this morning which result will be back tomorrow, keep your fingers crossed for me!!!!

Kaylee is so much better today, she is sleeping loads, I think a combo of catching up and her body needing it to fight the infection. But she is her happy self again! Tell you what when they are miserable like that it really makes you appreciate how good they are normally!!!!

Nikiesha come home from school today and told me her friend has had her nose pierced...I didn't believe it at first saying that it must be fake but then she said no her mum went with her and had to sign a piece of paper so they would do it!!! OMG first they are all getting mobile phone and now they are getting holes in their bodies where there shouldn't be holes. They are only kids for a short time, people whinge and carry on all the time that our kids grow up too fast, expect to much too soon and then let them do things like this. I told my girls there is no way in hell they will be getting anything like this until they are old enough that i can't stop them!

My Babies Back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kaylee is SSSSOOOOOOO much better today! She slept fantastic last night, I only had to get up 3 times and two of those were because she had kicked her blankets off, she didn't even want her dummy!!!

She has just eaten brekky and is now playing with Thomas' cars on her own, normally she would be whingeing and wanting me to pick her up. You can see the difference in her little face!

Now saying that I am still not completely rested....Jamie and I were sound asleep last night when this noise woke me up...it was his car alarm (GOD that thing is loud!!!). We have no idea why it went off. I don't think anyone tried to take it maybe it just wanted some attention!!! LOL! The funniest thing about it was Jamie getting woken up like that and being completely disoriented and not knowing what to do cause he was naked HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

So as usual when something like that happen I could not go straight back to sleep, so even though I am feeling much better today I am still looking forward to going to bed tonight.

I have a Drs appt this morning, I am positive that I will be put on day time insulin. Will report back when I get home!

NO Better

Well last night with Miss Kaylee was no better, we still didn't get alot of sleep. I tried putting her down for a anap this morning and she was quiet for all of 20 min, whether she was sleeping or not I do not know, so I decided to take her to the Dr just to mkae sure there was nothing else wrong. Her ears and throat are fine but she looks like she has maps all over her tounge which indicates she is fighting something bacterial so he has given her amoxil, and i also got some pain stop........She is now sleeping so we will see how long for, and I pray please let her sleep well tonight!!!!!!!

I said to Jamie last night that the man (had to be a man) who decided that babies should be born with no teeth needed a bullet in his head!!!!!

COnsidering that I have had hardly any sleep since friday I am surprised I am not a walking mess, but I am doing ok, but am definatly looking forward to my upcoming holiday HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Great day

Well it was Thomas' birthday yesterday and he had a great day. He got so spoilt, but that is what birthdays are all about. I am now going to have to clean out some of the more babyish toys out of his room to make room for all of his new stuff. He got some great Disney Cars toys, chalkboard, playdoh, GeoTrax, money........ We haven't let him open it all yet, have left some of it in boxes so we can spread it out a bit....keeps him quiet which is fantastic!

We had his party at Hungry Jacks and he was so funny, didn't want to go off and play with his friends, just wanted to sit there and wait for more presents and the food!!! LOL! It was great to walk out of there and leave the mess and come home to my nice clean house...although it is not that clean now with all the new toys spread out everywhere!!!!!

I would like the culprit you switched Kaylee with the evil screaming non sleeping look alike to own up and bring my darling sweet baby back please. She has been playing up so much of a night lately it is driving me nuts...Last night was the worst, and now she won't sleep during the day either. Right this minute she has bee screaming in her bed for almost 25 minutes, I have been in to her once, but it just makes her worse.....I keep wondering how the heck I am going to cope if she is still doing this when the baby comes!!!!!! :(

3 weeks, 3 days!

HI Everyone

Well we have been very busy, not with anything special but with 4 kids how can you not be!!!

It is Thomas' Birthday on Saturday! I can't believe that my little man will be THREE!!!!!! I have been talking to him about it allot so that he understands that after being to so many parties this year it is finally his turn!!!!! I know he is going to have an absolute ball! I am making him a train cake so will be trying to get that done tomorrow so I don't have to worry about it Saturday morning.

We had an awful day on Monday...Started out good with us excited about having an ultrasound. Jamie was off sick and decided that he would come, which was great cause he normally misses out on that sort of stuff. We get in the car to head over to drop off the babies to dad's and the car started playing up a bit, I thought it was just the way he was driving it hehe. Anyway we get to the ultrasound place which is only 5 mins from Dad's and hand her the slip to be told sorry we can't accept that as it is a Barwon Health slip and has only been signed by a registrar so Medicare will reject it!!!! OMG I felt like crying! She said that I could just get my GP to co sign it and they would be able to see me at 2pm that afternoon. So off i go to my local clinic and she tells me oh no we can;t alter it without you waiting for an appt!!! Christ I only wanted him to sign it, not make any changes, more like they would get no money out of it if I didn't have an appt!!!!! So I cracked it! There was no way I was waiting for 1.5hrs just for a signature!!!! Decided that it would be quicker to go into town to the Ante Natal clinic at the hospital and get the Ob to sign it!

That is when the real crap stuff started! We went and got the babies and dropped Jamie off at home, driving up the highway the car got worse and worse and worse, to where it was trying to bunny hop at 60km in 4th gear! I drove straight to the closest mechanic, who happened to be a friend and to cut a long story short, it needs a new Air Flow Meter which cost $700 for the part alone!!!!! The mechanic has borrowed on for a few days for us to drive around and make sure all the problems disappear and then we will have to buy our own!!!

All I can say is thank god that against every ones advice I brought a Warranty when I brought the car as it has saved us allot of money already (more that the warranty cost that is for sure). And I think that when we upgrade we will take his advice and buy a Torago! We have only had it 2 years and have had two MAJOR problems with it. I know buying second hand cars there is a risk of that anyway but every mechanic we speak to tells us off for buying a Carnival!

So we finally have our ultrasound and triple checked that it was a boy YAY! Amy was with us and she loved it, which was good. I went for the 34 weeks check up the next morning and they did find that he has a slight renal dilation in both kidneys. In 95% of cases it corrects itself by the time that they are born, he will have to have an ultrasound to make sure. Nikiesha had a problem with her kidneys inuetro too and I am sure it was the same thing. I am not stressing about it, I will deal with it if and when I have too.

I was also put back on insulin :(, a bit disappointed but I know that I have done everything that I can to stay off it, the only other thing I could do would be eliminate carbs all together and wouldn't be good for either of us! At the min it is only the night time slow release one, but I think that I will be on the day time on next week anyway. Apparently the Geelong Hospital still uses the National guidelines for your readings but last year there were new studies done and they are .3 lower than that guidelines, and if you go by them I am over most of the time!

Well I better go I think I have rambled enough LOL! And it is time for baths so I can put all these rug rats to be and have some piece and quiet!!!

4 weeks, 4 days and counting!

I can;t wait till this baby gets here, for the first time ever I am a little bit over being pregnant, having to watch what i eat, monitor my blood sugars, and this kid must have a future as a kick boxer cause some one forgot to tell him he is supposed to stop moving as he gets less room in there! Other from that the pregnancy is going great, I thought I would be on insulin by next week but my readings are improving, Some on suggested to me that I try and have more at each meal and had carb free snacks, and it is working. Apparentl it has something to do with your body not being able to cope with having carbs every couple of hours and then none at all at night. Go Figure, but it seems to be working.

Thomas has been sick the last few days, nothing major, threw up once and has had the runs a bit (sorry TMI) but has had a fever, think it may have been some sort of viral gastro. Now I think Kaylee is getting it, I went in to wake up the girls and she woke up, we went into bed for our normal cuddle and she started to go back to sleep so I got her a bottle and put her back to bed and she is out to it! See how she is when she gets up I guess, we are supposed to go to play group this morning but if she is sick I guess it will be another day at home for us!

31 more days and I turn 30 :( LOL! I have decided to have a birthday lunch, I was thinking of having a party a few weeks later but I can;t see my self wanting to organise it wil a new baby. and then I will be disappointed later that I did nothing, so a lunch it is!

Well I had better go and have a quick shower and get my day started, Thomas is at me to dress him, he is not like his mum, doesnt like being in his pj's all day!!! LOL!

Another day, same stuff

Ever wish your house looked different everytime you woke up? I do, I am so sick of cleaning the same stuff every day, woe is the life of a SAHM. Jamie reckons I have the easy job, but I said to him how about all next week I go into you work everynight and pull apart the kitchen you built that day so you had to redo it all again the next day!!!!!

Nikiesha had her first competition of the year last night and I am so proud of her, she has been a bit worried about it for the last few weeks as she is not picking the routines up as easy this year as she has moved up to juniors and it is all a bit harder, but she was a star as usual!!!!!!!!!

Were off to Mum and Dad's for tea tonight, Jamie is over there now finishing off the front fence, gonna have a roast, mmmmm.

As of tomorrow we only have 5 weeks till this baby arrives!!! OMG! Or as Jamie says, five weeks till he gets a week off! LOL! Not that is is really going to be a week off for im cause he will have the other four kids, and I plan on having a nice holiday myself!!!!!! Not leaving that hospital this time till the kick me out HAHAHAHAHA!

Oh SO Tired

Kaylee has played up the last 2 nights and last night THomas decided to join her!!!! I have had jack sleep over the last two days and I am really feeling it. I wnt to the Target Toy Sale this morning and as I was on my way to the check out to pay for some things I had this overwhelming urge to cry for no reason what so ever!!!!!! Stupid hormones!!!!!!

Nikiesha had a great birthday yesterday, she has lots of new stuff to play with and HEAPS of money to buy more!!!! Daddy brought her a very pretty pair of heart earrings which he took her to pick out. Nanna, Pop and her aunts, uncles and cousins brought her a HSM Blanket and Bratz Hair Straightening kit which she was very happy about, right now she is crimping Rhiaan's hair!!!!!

Got most of what I wanted in Target this morning, except for the thing that Jamies mum wants to give to the girls, neither of the Targets here had any, I don't think one got them at all. It was the winner of the Girls Toy of the year award and considering what happened with the Bindeez last year it made me wonder if they were worried about something!!!!!

Well better go and do some house work seeing I sat at my friends house all after noon avoiding it LOL!

Happy Birthday Nikiesha

My little girl is 10 today. She is growing up so fast and I am very proud of the woman she is becoming!!!! I mark turning double figures I brought her her first grown up watch, and tonight Daddy will take her shopping for a new pair of earrings!

We have one of my best friends sons birthday's today as well so we are off to Hungry Jacks after tea, and then will come home and wait for a few family members and friends to get her and have Birthday Pavlova (her choice) and some nibbles.

I had a check up at the hospital and got some good news and some disappointing news....

I will start with the disappointing news, although my sugar readings look good over the day if you look at them over the few weeks they are slowly rising....They started off a high 4's and low 5's but are now high 5's and low 6's.....which basically means thata s my pregnancy progresses it is getting worse (did last time too) so I will end up on insulin. I have tried everything I can, but not even having small amounts of carb and then exercising is making much of a difference.

The good news is that I got to see one of the head OB's and told him about them not being able to book me in until 39.5 weeks, and he said that wasn't early enough especially with the diabetes. He went away and come back and said how does September 1st sound! I am exactly 38 weeks on that day. So only 5 weeks and 5 days left!!!!!!

Well I had better go, got plenty of cleaning and cooking to do!!!!!!

What a weekend

WOW I am glad this weekend is over.

Saturday we had my Godsons birthday party. Then home to do the rest of the shopping for Nikiesha's birthday party. Then after dinner (chicken Curry in a Hurry, beautiful!!) We went to mum and dad's to have drinks with my brother for his birthday....Then sunday I had 10 giggling girls at my house for Nikiesha's birthday! They all had a ball, and we're very well behaved. It pured rain the whole time so they were inside for the whole 2 hours so they did well.

She got some very nice presents, but one I am shattered about, a watch!! Which is what I spent hours looking for as her present from us, so now she will have two! She also got a great scrapbooking kit from a friend from dancing and is bugging me for photos again LOL! I really should get off my toosh and sort some out for her!

The rest of my week is going to be pretty average, gym, toysale, Nikiesha's birthday, one of my BF's sons birthday the same day as Nikiesha's and next weekend Nikeisha's first calisthenics comp for the year!

OH and the biggest challenge this week will be weaning Kaylee off having a bottle in bed!!! She is already showing me right now that she is not going to make it easy for me!!!!!

Spent too much money today

Hi Everyone

I had a great day of retail therapy today. Big W opened in Geelong as well as 100 other new stores!!! Our Westfield has basically doubled!!!! They had some great specials, and I didn't buy anything that we didn't need, but god it was the quickest $200 I have ever spent. Jamie got new Jumpers for work and home, flannelette shirts and Pjs, I got some new pj's for hospital, Kaylee got new Pj's and a top that says I love Kisses Hugs and Daddy, Thomas got new pj's, the girls got a new top each, and I brought Nikiesha's birthday present for next Wednesday!

I decided I wanted to buy her something to mark turning double figures, so I thought her first grown up watch would be nice. Have any of you tried to find a watch for a kid that is not babyish? They all had those rubber bands covered in flowers, Hello Kitty etc. I wanted something grown up but not expensive as I don't want to freak about her wearing it to school. I finally found one in Selera's, which is a snobby kind of store and I wasn't even going to look in there! It has a nice pink leather band with a square face and have a heart on the face. Very happy with it. I also got her a pair of High School musical Pyjamas. Then on the day Jamie will take her over to get something special from Daddy which he has decided that he wants to do every year now, as if they don't get enough LOL!

I let Kaylee wear her new PJ's tonight, OMG i have ever seen a 15month old get so excited about clothes I shouldn't have been surprised as she is always draping herself with anything that gets left on the floor. She was so happy kept rubbing them and going up to the others babbling at them and pointing at her sleeves!!!! OMG how bad is she going to be when she is a teenager!!!!

OH and for those who know her Angie is still alive I saw her today, passed each other on the elevator LOL!

Well better go and get some dishes done so I can get to bed at a decent hour!

Schools Back

Hi Everyone,

Well school is back and it is nice and quiet here for a change but poor Kaylee is lost with out the girls. When they were home she was outside with them all the time and now wants me to go out there with her, but I can't stay out there all day, well I could, but no house work would get done.

I have started spring cleaning and the kitchen is almost done, I will finish it when the kids go down for a nap this after noon. Need to do the insides of the cupboards and I can't do that when Kaylee is up, they are her favorite play things at the moment. She has a ball in the tupperware cupboard when I am cooking tea!

I had a fall last friday which was a bt scary, tripped over the uneven concrete in the drive way, my hands took the brunt of it, but my belly coped it a bit too, but thanks god bubs started moving around like normal a few mins later.

Pregnancy is going well so far, I am still managing to control the GD with exercise and diet, which is fab cause I am loosing weight too. My bump is really compact this time for 31 weeks, I am sure I was much bigger with the others! Maybe that is a good sign that we will have a nice little baby, not that they others have been huge. Even better, maybe it is a sign that I will not have any extra to loose than I already have! LOL! We have gotten the date for our c-section and I'm not happy with the hospital abut it. The specialist want me done at 38 weeks cause of all the drama I normally have but they can't get me in till 39.5 weeks!!! You would think that seeing it is for a medical reason they would book it in earlier so that there is no problems getting you in when you need to be! SO even though at the min I am booked in for September 10th that could change at any of the next appts, especially after I have had my ultrasound at 34 weeks.

It's Nikeisha's 10th birthday next week!!!! OMG where has the time gone!!!! Her turning ten makes me feel older than knowing that I turn 30 the following month!!!!!

Well better go, it is lunch time and I want to put the kids down for a nap so I can eat in piece!

Middle of the holidays!

Well today is Sunday and the first week of the school holidays are over. Jamie goes back to work tomorrow, and out of all the kids Kaylee will miss him the most, she has been his shadow all week!!!!! Last night she wouldn't even come to me cause she was with him, kept shaking her head at me!
Thomas fell yesterday, I have no idea where as I can't make sense of what he said, but he hit his eye which now has a cut on it and is swollen up real good, I think it will def turn into a black eye. When I work out how i will post a picture.
Competition season is starting for calisthenics and my calender is filling up fast, between comps and birthday this baby is going to be here before I know it, and I have done nothing at all to get ready. Something just came to me then, they are going to test me for any Liver problems at 34 weeks so if they find any problems then he could be here in as little as four weeks, OMG I better get cracking!!!!
Well we don't have anything planned for today, well except house work, but that is just normal, I think i might cook something nice for tea and get all my rug rats to bed early so I can spend the last night of his holidays with my hubby.
